On this page one will find links to schools that cater to an ethnically diverse student population as a part of the mission of the institution. These post-secondary institutions are members of the collectives of schools that have significant Hispanic and/or African American populations.

While most of the HACUs are not majority hispanic, the member schools have special programs to assist Hispanic students to successfully matriculate and graduate. While most of the HBCUs were specifically initially chartered to offer special training and educational advancement to African Americans. Because of their special talents for aiding the nontraditional student and first generation collegiate to graduate, HBCUs have become more ethnically diverse than most 2-year and 4-year institutions in America.

These post-secondary institutions are found in 20 states, the District of Columbia, and the U. S. possession, the Virgin Islands. Below is a list of the institutions delineated by state.
